Down Time
So I have had hours of down time today at work. While this may sound like a good thing, it really is not. I have posted to my other blog and my facebook page. I have done a crossword puzzle, read the obituaries and looked for ideas for a friend's wedding. I have eaten three waffles and 1/2 an apple strudel. I have had a few laughs with my co-workers. Sounds like a full day eh? Nope 2 more hours left. Why oh Why can I not have this much spare time when I can use it to do something productive? One of the great mysteries of life...
Ramblings
I am happy that the leaves are turning, but not that they will need to be raked. I am happy that the temperatures are going down, but not that they will go down further. I am happy that I have a fun job, but not happy that I am not making much money. I am happy that I am not young, but not happy that I am getting old. No win.
Hang On
It is interesting to me that we have all of a sudden come to an awareness that we don't know what the future holds. As if we ever knew what was in our future. We just have moments that we feel in control of things, when in all actuality we never really are. Yep - the way I see it I will just live each moment the way I believe I should and hang on for the ride.
Tightwaddery is Unattractive
People, people - if you cannot afford something or do not like the price - do not whine! Go make more money, or buy a lower priced, less quality item and deal with it. If you want something nice, you must pay for it. The government cannot bail you out of everything.
A New Experience
I don't know if what I have to say is of much interest, but here I am blogging away.
The latest thing on my mind is how we cannot fairly judge anyone else. There is just no way to know what another person's life experience is like. We all come in such different packages. Yep that is what is on my mind.
